Whether you're a family of two or 10, keeping everyone in your family safe is a shared responsibility. That's why we recommend that all family members enroll in one of our adult, children, and infant CPR classes in Lincoln. With the knowledge and skills to help anyone at any age, you can provide care to your family when it's needed most. Classes are available online, in person and via our blended Simulation Learning experience, so no matter what your schedule may be or how you learn best, you can find a class that suits your needs. To enroll in an in-person class as a family, you can simply sign up for the same course individually, or sign up online to register everyone at once.
Note: Most students are aged 16 or older, but younger students are also welcome to train with the Red Cross.
If you learn best in a self-paced environment, need a flexible schedule and/or don't need full OSHA-compliant certification, then our online Lincoln CPR certification courses might be the perfect solution. Featuring the same information as our in-person classes, but with online activities rather than an in-person skills session, our online courses will test your abilities and help ensure that you're ready to provide care when it's needed most. Whether you're a scout leader, part of a parenting group, or need to train your employees in delivering CPR, the Red Cross can help. We not only offer open-to-anyone CPR classes in Lincoln, but deliver private group trainings as well. This way, you can learn alongside your peers, encourage each other throughout class, and act as a support system – reminding each other about using our refresher materials every three months, and testing each other on "what to do if…" as you pass each other in the hallway. Not only that, but it builds teamwork and trust, and helps ensure that everyone in your group knows how to provide care when it's needed most.
The Red Cross makes it easy for schools in Lincoln to provide CPR training to their students and their faculty. Through our special program, your school can enter into an "authorized provider" agreement with the Red Cross, which simply guarantees that the school will adopt Red Cross training exclusively for its health and safety training needs. Afterward, we'll train adult faculty members in CPR and first aid – and provide them with instruction on how to effectively teach students those same skills. Once the course is successfully completed, your students will receive a CPR course completion card. Additional details are available on our CPR Programs for Schools page.
Note: Red Cross CPR programs schools waive student learner fees, however instructor training fees still apply.
When you sign up for one of our Lincoln CPR renewal courses, you can refresh your memory, renew your skills and learn new techniques. CPR renewal classes are abbreviated (when compared to our standard certification courses) and are designed for those whose credentials are still valid but near expiration. Once successfully completed, they will extend your certification by two years. For details on the CPR renewal training available in your area, check out our newest course schedule.
After successfully completing one of our Lincoln CPR certification classes, your credentials will be valid for two years. But rather than keeping a copy of your certificate to show to your current or prospective employer, or printing a copy for your own personal records, you can locate them online any time. In order to keep things simple and paperless, we provide all program "graduates" with a unique URL and a QR code that they can use to access all of their Red Cross credentials – making them easy to track no matter where you are.
