Training Supplies to Teach Lifeguarding

To help ensure instructors and participants are adequately prepared for each class, below are the required and optional materials, equipment and supplies for the lifeguarding r.24 course. You can click on the links below to add items to your shopping cart.

Materials:

Instructor Manual or Instructor Kit with supplies
DVD
Waterproof Instructor’s Deck Book (optional)
Participant Manual (one for each participant, print or complimentary eBook available)

Lifeguarding training equipment - jaw thrust manikin, bag valve mask, diving brick, backboard, and hip pack.

Equipment and Supplies:

Rescue Equipment

Rescue Tubes (one for every 2 participants)
Backboard with at least one strap and head immobilizer (one for every 3 participants)
Rescue boards, Masks & Swim fins (Waterfront skills module only)

Resuscitation Equipment

Jaw Thrust Manikins (one adult and one infant for every 2 participants)
There are many options available including Adult and Infants
Replacement Lungs (need to be replaced after every class)
Bag Valve Masks
Adult (one for each adult manikin)
Infant (one for each infant manikin)
AED Training Devices (one for each set of adult and infant manikins)
AED Training Pads (one for each set of adult and infant manikins)

Other Equipment

Diving Brick (a 10lb. diving brick or weight – one for every 5 participants)
Manikin decontamination supplies
- Non-Latex Gloves
- Timing Device
- Dive Rings (Waterfront Skills module only, three)
- Zone Audit Devices, submergible manikins or silhouettes
