Whether you're a family of two or 10, keeping everyone in your family safe is a shared responsibility. That's why we recommend that all family members enroll in one of our adult, children, and infant CPR classes in Madison. With the knowledge and skills to help anyone at any age, you can provide care to your family when it's needed most. Classes are available online, in person and via our blended Simulation Learning experience, so no matter what your schedule may be or how you learn best, you can find a class that suits your needs. To enroll in an in-person class as a family, you can simply sign up for the same course individually, or sign up online to register everyone at once.
Note: Most students are aged 16 or older, but younger students are also welcome to train with the Red Cross.
The Red Cross makes it easy for schools in Madison to provide CPR training to their students and their faculty. Through our special program, your school can enter into an "authorized provider" agreement with the Red Cross, which simply guarantees that the school will adopt Red Cross training exclusively for its health and safety training needs. Afterward, we'll train adult faculty members in CPR and first aid – and provide them with instruction on how to effectively teach students those same skills. Once the course is successfully completed, your students will receive a CPR course completion card. Additional details are available on our CPR Programs for Schools page.
Note: Red Cross CPR programs schools waive student learner fees, however instructor training fees still apply.
Whether you're a nurse, firefighter, paramedic, EMT, social worker, teacher, daycare provider or work in another field that requires continuing education units (CEUs) to maintain licensure or certification, the Red Cross can help. We are approved to award CEUs in Preparedness and Health and Safety Services courses, including First Aid, AED and CPR, Wilderness and Remote First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens, Administering Emergency Oxygen, Lifeguarding, Swimming and Water Safety, and more. After successfully completing one of our Madison CPR certification classes, your credentials will be valid for two years. But rather than keeping a copy of your certificate to show to your current or prospective employer, or printing a copy for your own personal records, you can locate them online any time. In order to keep things simple and paperless, we provide all program "graduates" with a unique URL and a QR code that they can use to access all of their Red Cross credentials – making them easy to track no matter where you are.
