First Aid Training in Utah
At the American Red Cross, we offer Utah first aid certification training classes so that you can learn how to help your friends, family and neighbors during medical emergencies. With courses available online, in person and via our blended Simulation Learning experience, finding a class that suits your schedule and your learning style is simple.
To become fully certified in first aid by the American Red Cross, you must successfully complete an in-person class or Simulation Learning course taught by Red Cross instructors. In Utah, first aid training opportunities are available in dozens of convenient locations throughout the state – making it easy to find a class that's near your home, school or office. Courses are also available in an online-only format, however they may not meet your employer's requirements for workplace safety.
In Utah, first aid classes from the American Red Cross take just a few short hours to complete, but can help you provide the right level of care during times of crisis. After successfully completing your in-person or blended Simulation Learning course, you'll receive full, OSHA-compliant certification that's valid for two years.
Once your Utah first aid training classes are complete, you can use our free, printable step-by-step guides and interactive online refresher materials to help keep your memory, and your skills, sharp. This way, you can be ready to provide the best possible care during times of crisis – and help those in need until medical professionals arrive.
In order to maintain your certification beyond the two-year period, we offer abbreviated first aid renewal classes that allow you to stay up to date on the latest techniques. These classes should be taken within 30 days of your certification's expiration date, and will extend the life of your credentials by two additional years.
Our first aid training classes deliver the best practices for providing care to children and adults in need. From helping during an accident or injury where cuts, broken bones, and bruises may occur, to delivering care to unconscious individuals, our courses can help you learn to provide the best possible care until medical professionals arrive.
Because children and babies have more delicate bodies and require specialized care, we offer first aid classes in Utah that focus specifically on providing care to the youngest among us. With detailed instruction on caring for conscious and unconscious children, and information on helping kids who have been injured in a variety of ways, we can give you the skills and confidence needed to provide care until trained medical professionals arrive.
At the American Red Cross we offer first aid training in Utah that can help you confidently provide care when your friends, family or neighbors need it most. In addition, we offer training classes and respond to emergencies in all 50 states and more than 180 countries worldwide . In order to ensure that everyone we train learns to deliver the most effective care, all of our training materials are developed under the guidance of, and reviewed by, the Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council.
