BLS Certification in North Carolina

The Red Cross offers BLS training in North Carolina that's designed to deliver the latest information, and suit your learning style. With in-person and blended Simulation Learning classes, which combine online coursework with an in-person skills session, you can earn your two-year certification your way. All of our courses use a scenario-based approach that allows you to further develop your critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills, which can help drive better patient outcomes. And our course materials are consistent with AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, and cover breathing and cardiac emergencies, including CPR, AED, and obstructed airway care for adults, children, and infants.

Because your certification is only valid for two years, North Carolina BLS training isn't a one-time process. In order to maintain your credentials, certificate holders who are nearing the end of their certification period, or those whose certifications are within 30 days of expiring, must take a BLS renewal course to avoid a lapse in certification. Once successfully completed your BLS certification will be extended by two more years.
