Red Cross Training in Kentucky

BLS Training

At the Red Cross, BLS classes in Kentucky are available to healthcare workers and public safety professionals. These classes can be taken in two ways: In person or via our blended Simulation Learning. In person BLS training takes place entirely in person, with classmates and an instructor. This type of class provides you with ample time to explore topics, ask questions and learn all of the care techniques addressed in class. For those who choose Simulation Learning, the same information will be taught in an online environment, but interactive discussion won't be possible. Once the "lecture" portion of the class is complete, you'll join an in-person skill session where you'll demonstrate your BLS skills to a certified instructor. Both courses, once complete, result in full certification.

For those who have already completed their BLS training, the American Red Cross offers BLS recertification courses that allow you to learn new skills and procedures, refresh your memory and extend your certification by two years.
